First things first … correctly fitted helmets …. check, bikes adjusted  to fit the children … check … then off they went!

A fantastic morning spent focussed on setting the bikes up correctly and safety when out riding a bike.

Anna & Olivia had a fantastic day at the Royal Albert Hall as members of the school choir along with other singers and musicians from across the country. It was a  very special honour for the school to be invited and reflects the hard work and talent of both children & staff at Headlands. Well done girls!

What a great morning working with our Year 1 buddies. The children worked together to make beautiful collage poppies to be used in the assembly on Friday 10th November to commemorate armed forces personnel who have died since World War 1!

Prayer Space

The children were given the chance to think carefully about themselves, their friendships with others and how they view the wider world through a series of activities in the prayer space. They all showed what thoughtful and considerate children they are through their responses. Fabulous attitudes and viewpoints! E0A8C47D-7FC0-480A-9853-B22B3398842B

To end the Rainforest theme with a flourish parents came into school to see our work and listen to the poems we had written with our partners. Each poem contained a message relating to how crucial the rainforests are to the the world and it’s environment.

As previously advertised on Headlines, our Harvest Festival will be next Tuesday (3rd April). Rev. Allison from St Peters will be leading the assembly. We would very much appreciate you sending your child with some tinned food or dried produce on the day. All donations will be given to the Hope Centre for the homeless. Thank you for your support.
